Mark Thomas was born in London and grew up in Hampshire. He graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, London in 1991. He trained in orthopaedic surgery via the North West Thames rotation and undertook a fellowship in arthroplasty, spinal surgery and trauma in Toronto, Canada.
He was appointed as a consultant at Frimley Park Hospital in 2002. His specialist interest is spinal surgery.
Mr Thomas is a fellow of the British Orthopaedic Association and Royal Society of Medicine and a member of the British Association of Spinal Surgeons and the Spine Society of Europe.
Mr Thomas operates and consults at Clare Park Hospital and operates at the Hampshire Clinic, Old Basing.
