Our Story

Formed in 2003, by the members of the Orthopaedic Department at Frimley Park Hospital, Joint Reaction is a private orthopaedic and sports surgery clinic that manages insured and self-funding patients in the same unified manner to offer a rapid and expert service.

We offer a comprehensive, first-class service for anyone with orthopaedic problems. We also work closely with several groups of physiotherapists and run joint clinics with them.

The surgeons at Joint Reaction have or have had NHS consultant posts at Frimley Park Hospital on the Surrey/Hampshire border. We spend part of our time providing a 24-hour trauma service for the 360,000 inhabitants in our local area and elective surgery for patients as far away as London and the South Coast.

Treatments and Referrals

Only 30% of our patients require surgery, with the majority requiring non-invasive treatments and therapies to get back to health and fitness again.

Should your consultant recommend surgery as part of your treatment and not specialise in it himself, he can refer you to one the country’s leading specialists who is also in the Joint Reaction group.
