Stuart Davies

Stuart Davies was brought up and educated in Derbyshire. He trained at Jesus College, Oxford and St George's Hospital, London. Orthopaedic training was on St George's and SW Thames Training Scheme. In 1984, he was employed as lecturer in Trauma and Orthopaedics at Witzwatersrand University, Johannesburg.
He was appointed as a consultant at Frimley Park Hospital in October 1987. He has in the past been Clinical Director of the T&O Department and Medical Director of the hospital. At present, he is the Regional Speciality Advisor of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Stuart Davies is a Fellow of the British Orthopaedic Association and a member of the Long Bone Group of AOUK. He has taught on courses on The Operative Treatment of Fractures in several countries since 1986.
Special interests are hip and knee replacement (including revision), knee arthroscopy, hand surgery and complex fracture treatment (including pelvis and acetabulum).
He is married to Margaret and has four children and several grandchilden.
