Hugh Chissell

Hugh Chissell was born and brought up on a farm in Dorset and educated at Canford School. He trained at St Bartholomew's Hospital, London, qualifying in 1985. His Orthopaedic training was in London, on the Charing Cross Hospital Rotation; University of Louisville, Kentucky; Duke University, North Carolina and Sportsmed SA, Adelaide, Australia.
He was appointed as a consultant at Frimley Park Hospital in September 1997 and has worked there since that date.
Hugh Chissell is a Fellow of the British Orthopaedic Association and a member of the British Association for Surgery of the Knee. His specialist interests are knee surgery, including arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, osteotomy, joint replacement and revision joint replacement, and hip surgery, including joint replacement and hip resurfacing.
Hugh Chissell operates and consults at Clare Park Hospital and the Parkside Suite at Frimley Park Hospital. He is married to Sue with with 3 teenage daughters.
