Currently surgery in all private hospitals has been stopped, as there is no anaesthetic cover. All our anaesthetists are all on rotas at Frimley Park Hospital and will be for the foreseeable future.
The beds at Clare Park will be allocated to support the NHS from next week and will probably be used for non Covid-19 medical patients much the same as the Local Community Hospitals.
Although very limited outpatient clinics are running we are able to provide telephone or video consultations, using either telephones, Facetime or Skype. However, routine radiology has been cancelled in all Spire Hospitals so no investigations can currently be done.. Our secretaries are still working, albeit remotely, and can be contacted to arrange consultations.
We expect that this situation will be present for a considerable while and that we are unlikely to be operating for the next 3 months, although possibly face to face clinics will be reinstated before then.
If you have any queries about Joint Reaction and how we are able to see patients please look for updates on the website or alternatively contact our secretaries on the phone numbers or email addresses in our contacts section.
