Azal Jalgaonkar has recently been appointed as a Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon at Frimley Park, taking over from David Dempster, and we are pleased to welcome him to Joint Reaction.  

Azal has also worked in specialised orthopaedic units like the Bone Tumour Unit in RNOH Stanmore and Great Ormond Street Hospital for children and has completed a Paediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship at Southampton University Hospital.

In is NHS practice he screens children with DDH, runs Ponsetti clinics for club feet with physiotherapists and sees children with lower limb pathology and abnormal gaits. He also specialises in botox injections for children with cerebral palsy.

Azal also has an interest in Adult Hip and Knee Surgery. He has a wide orthopaedic practice ranging from hip and knee joint replacement surgery, unicompartmental knee replacement, young adult hip pathology and hip impingement surgery including hip arthroscopy and knee arthroscopic surgery.
